The USMC Woodland MARPAT FROG Combat Pants are the genuine U.S. Marine Corps-issue flame-resistant trousers worn by active duty and reserve Marines as part of the FROG (Flame Resistant Organizational Gear) system. Built for the same demanding operational environment as the FROG combat shirt, these pants combine the iconic Woodland MARPAT digital camouflage pattern with inherent flame protection that can't wash out, wear out, or degrade over the life of the garment.
The fabric is the key. Made from a 65% FR rayon / 25% para-aramid / 10% nylon blend — the same Defender M™-class no-melt, no-drip construction used across the FROG system — these pants self-extinguish on contact with flame and will not melt or drip onto skin at temperatures up to 230°F. That protection is baked into the fiber itself, not applied as a treatment. It cannot be washed away. It does not fade with field use.
